OSU out of Big 12 title hunt

Oklahoma State's 56-20 loss at No. 2 Texas Tech on Saturday night did more than cause the Cowboys to drop in Sunday's new rankings.

It also mathematically eliminated OSU from securing a spot in the Big 12 Conference championship game.

OSU can still earn a share of the Big 12 South Division title. But all tiebreaker scenarios will work against the Cowboys when it comes to awarding the division crown.

The loss at Tech dropped OSU to No. 11 in the Associated Press poll and No. 13 in the USA Today coaches and Harris polls and the Bowl Championship Series standings.

OSU (8-2 overall, 4-2 Big 12) plays at Colorado this Saturday.

Kickoff for the KTUL-8 broadcast will be 7 p.m.
