Awesome in orange: Dez Bryant must love OSU's home orange jerseys. Bryant has scored 15 touchdowns this season, all of which have come in Stillwater.

Last season, Bryant had six touchdown receptions. Four came in OSU home games. Two more came in the Insight Bowl victory over Indiana in which the Cowboys were wearing orange jerseys.

Preparation for two: After facing a steady diet of high-caliber quarterbacks the past month, Oklahoma State's defense must get ready for the possibility of facing two Colorado quarterbacks this Saturday.

While no final determination had been made as of Monday, Colorado coach Dan Hawkins said it's likely his son Cody Hawkins will be the starter against the Cowboys.

"We'll probably lean back more and more in favor of Cody," the Buffaloes coach said. "But we'll still get Tyler (Hansen) in the action. He brings some stuff to the table."

Cody Hawkins replaced an ineffective Hansen to start the second half last week against Iowa State. Cody Hawkins threw for 226 yards and four touchdowns in the 28-24 victory.

OSU defensive coordinator Tim Beckman expects to see both Cody Hawkins and Hansen.

"(Cody) Hawkins is an admiral on the field, a leader," Beckman said. "(Hansen) does a great job running the football. He is a very gifted athlete. Two different types of schemes."

Juco defensive end picks OSU: Pearl River (Miss.) Community College defensive end Darius Hart verbally committed to OSU on Monday.

The 6-foot-6, 250-pound Hart will graduate from Pearl River next month and enroll at OSU in January.

"It's been on my mind for the last couple of weeks," Hart told Rivals.com. "The season just ended and I decided to go ahead and commit so I can concentrate on classes and get back in the weight room."

Hart selected OSU over Louisville, Kansas State, Troy and Louisiana Tech. Hart's decision gives the Cowboys nine verbal commitments for next year's recruiting class.
