World Sports Writer Barry Lewis breaks down the top 10 offensive linemen in Tulsa and the surrounding area.

1. Calvin Barnett

Senior, Booker T. Washington

Nominated for the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. Also can dominate on the defensive line. Held out of spring practice for precautionary reasons due to shoulder surgery, but is expected to be at 100 percent when fall practice starts. Shifted to center last year. Barnett, 6-3 and 305 pounds, has started since he was a freshman.

Recruited by Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Arkansas, Alabama, Louisiana State, Florida, UCLA.

2. Trent Spurgeon

Senior, Owasso

At 6-foot-7 and 280 pounds, he is poised to lead the Rams; offensive line after the graduation of 2009 U.S. Army All-American Bowl selection Brandon Webb. Also plays for Owasso's basketball team.

College choices are Arizona and Texas Tech.

3. Jake Alexander

Senior, Jenks

The 6-2, 270-pounder was a Tulsa World All- Metro second team offensive lineman last season. He has helped Jenks win two Class 6A state titles and reach the final last year. His father, David Alexander, was an NFL offensive lineman from 1987-96 with the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Jets.

Committed to Tulsa and also received offers from LSU, Louisville, Michigan State and Texas A&M.

4. Alec Henry

Senior, Union

Made a successful transition to offense last year and helped the Redskins win the Class 6A state title. At 6-4 and 295 pounds, he still will be used on goal-line defense situations.

Recruited by Tulsa, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Kansas State, Texas Tech and Oregon

5. Bob Graham

Senior, Jenks

At 6-5 and 270 pounds, has good quickness and shows the ability to get downfield to produce devastating open-field blocks that create big plays. Helped the Trojans reach the 6A state final last year.

Recruited by Air Force, Kansas, Kansas State, Louisville and Wyoming.

6. Jeremy Burton

Senior, Muskogee

Has started 30 varsity games. Allowed only one sack last year. The 6-4, 305-pounder is a brother of Oklahoma State player Derek Burton.

Recruited by Oklahoma State, Kansas, Missouri, Texas and Colorado State.

7. Chris Littlehead

Senior, Tahlequah Sequoyah:

The 6-4, 305-pounder has the potential to play collegaietly on either side of the ball.

Recruited by Oklahoma State, Kansas, Kansas State, Louisville, Mississippi, Nebraska.

8. Dillon O'Carroll

Junior, Booker T. Washington

Helped the Hornets win the 5A state title last year. Also plays on defense. The 6-3, 280-pounder has started sincde he was a freshman. Wears No. 77, as did his favorite all-time NFL player did, Lyle Alzado.

9. Dalton Duckett

Senior, Union

The 6-1, 300-pound guard was a part of a dominant offensive line that helped power the Redskins to the 6A state title.

10. John Saint

Senior, Bishop Kelley

The 6-2, 255-pound center will play next to his brother, Will, on the Comets' line. Helped the Comets extend their playoff streak to 11 consecutive seasons. Started since he was a sophomore.

wow who woulda thought that Bob Graham would have multiple D1 offers at 6-5 and only 27 pounds! He must have a great frame to put on weight!

wow - Johnny Deaton puts up the kind of numbers that he has for 2 years, and no linemen from Sand Springs make your top ten??? he will be the first to tell you he can't do it without them. they are being recruited as well and 2 of them are bigger than Alexander....as usual, Sand Springs is on the wrong side of the river to get any notice.

I don't think you have to be from the "right side of the river" to be recognized. You have to be from a powerhouse. The rest of us - forget it. Robert Calloway at Rogers is as big as Calvin and almost as good. Great kid. Big heart. Hard worker. But, you won't see him mentioned either. Why? Because he's at Rogers.
