Strain's vote

World Sports Editor Mike Strain's vote in the AP Top 25:

1. Florida: Gators don't always look great, but who's going to beat them? Final road game of the season is Saturday against South Carolina.

2. Texas: Barring a big upset, the Longhorns are headed for the BCS championship game. Road trip to Baylor on Saturday.

3. Alabama: Crimson Tide has won 21 regular-season games in a row. Up next is road trip to Mississippi State on Saturday.

4. TCU: Are Frogs a BCS buster? We could find out Saturday in a home game against Utah.

5. Cincinnati: Bearcats escape against UConn. Home game Friday against West Virginia. Circle the date: Dec. 5 trip to Pittsburgh.

6. Boise State: Broncos keep struggling to beat bad teams. Led Louisiana Tech by two in fourth quarter before pulling away.

7. Georgia Tech: Almost stumbled against Wake Forest, but escaped in OT. Lone loss was on the road against Miami (Fla.)

8. Pittsburgh: Panthers keep winning, but the toughest part of the schedule is ahead: Notre Dame (Nov. 14), at West Virginia (Nov. 27) and Cincinnati (Dec. 5).

9. LSU: Losses are to Florida and Alabama. Up next is home game against Louisiana Tech squad that just put a scare in Boise State.

10. Houston: Barely escaped Tulsa with a win. How does this team have eight wins with that defense? Case Keenum.

I really do not understand why Bama is jumping Texas in the BSC? They go back and forth. I mean, Bama barely beat LSU, and Texas completely dominated their game on Saturday against the Knights?

Anyone care to explain why this keeps happening?
