Strain's vote

World Sports Editor Mike Strain's vote in the Associated Press top 25 football poll:

1. Florida: Gators stay on track for third national title in four years. Up next is SEC title game showdown Saturday with Alabama.

2. Texas: Did Colt McCoy win the Heisman against Texas A&M? Longhorns still on track for BCS title game. Up next is Big 12 championship game Saturday against Nebraska.

3. Alabama: Gutty fourth-quarter march to victory on the road against Auburn. Will 'Bama beat Tebow and Gators? Probably not.

4. TCU: Good enough to play in national-title game, but looks like Frogs won't get that chance.

5. Cincinnati: Might not be undefeated after Saturday's road game against Pitt. The winner is Big East champ.

6. Boise State: Undefeated Broncos' closest game of year was 28-21 win over Tulsa.

7. Oregon: Ducks play a home game against Oregon State on Thursday, and there's a little at stake. Winner goes to Rose Bowl.

8. Ohio State: Big 10 champ Buckeyes will play the Oregon-Oregon State winner in the Rose Bowl.

9. LSU: Tigers seem to play close games every week. They win most of them.

10. Georgia Tech: A bad home loss to rival Georgia, but it doesn't affect BCS bowl chances. Tech faces Clemson on Saturday in ACC title game.
