The Bulldogs' senior outfielder was 11-of-21 (.523) last week with four doubles, a home run, three RBIs, four stolen bases and eight runs scored. Jones is batting .476 on the season.

Boys tennis Booker T. Washington
Won the Green Country Conference No. 1 singles title last week. The junior is 8-4 and plays all the tough singles players in the metro. "He's our stable force," coach Butch Fisher said.

Girls tennis Holland Hall
Sophomore is 3-4, but 2-1 last week against tough metro and Southwest Preparatory Conference competition. "She is a tough competitor and comes to play," said coach Laura Puryear.

Had a big meet at the University of Arkansas with wins in the 100 (11.89), 200 (24.52) and 1600 relay. Also part of the team that finished second in the 400 relay. Will attend ORU next season.

Distance specialist has done well in two recent meets at Muskogee and Owasso. Senior was first in the 1600 at Owasso in 4:29. He won the 1600 (4:33) and 3200 (9:50.50) at Muskogee.

Junior has won eight consecutive tournaments despite competing against golfers from larger classes. Shot 69 to win a regional qualifying tournament Tuesday at Cotton Creek.

Sophomore tied for the low score in a 36-hole Edmond North Tournament last week. Said coach Brian Rahilly, "He has a genuine love for the game and has potential to be a great player."

Junior scored six goals and had an assist for the Class 5A top-ranked Hornets last week. He has nine goals and seven assists this season.
Hannah James
Girls soccer Edison
Junior has been a three-year starter at striker and had three goals and two assists in a victory over Catoosa. She leads her team in goals and is second in assists this season.

I have heard nothing this spring re glenpool boys soccer. I know they have a boy on the team who scored 3 goals in a game which is an outstanding achievement for any soccer player, and is worthy of acknowlegement.
