The River Rush:
5k and 1k fun run, is Oct. 10 at 31st and Riverside. Entry information available at

The Sequoyah Memorial Hospice Run:
Saturday in downtown Sallisaw. The 5k run and 2k walk benefits Sequoyah Memorial Hospice patients. Entry fee is $10 before Saturday and $12 on race day. Information, call 918-774-1100.
The Doubleshot 5k Trail Run and Duathlon:
9 a.m. Saturday at Turkey Mountain in Tulsa. Trail Run entry fees are $25 or $30 on race day. Duathlon entry fees are $45 per person or $60 per two-person team. Duathlon race day entry fees are $55 per person or $70 per two-person team. Information, call 810-5274.
The Run for Mums:
Saturday in downtown Cushing. Information, call (918) 223-6639.
The Pikefest 5k run:
Oct. 17 at the University of Tulsa. The race organized by TU's Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity raises money for the Ryan Gibson Foundation for Leukemia Research. Information, call Zach at (918) 894-3339.
The Care to be Aware 5k run:
Oct. 17 at the Cherokee Complex in Tahlequah. Information, call (918) 453-5260.
The 29th annual Woolaroc Road Race: 8:30 a.m. Oct. 17 at the Woolaroc Wildlife Preserve and Museum, southwest of Bartlesville. The 8k race course is in the Osage Hills. Information,

The Owasso YMCA Kids Triathlon:
Oct. 17 at the Owasso YMCA. The event is open to children ages 5-13. Information, call 272-7664.
Cycling
Cycle Fandango:
Oct. 17-18. The two-day event consists of rides 65-70 miles each day. It starts at 9 a.m. Oct. 17 at the Broken Arrow Holiday Inn Express and traverses through the Northeastern Oklahoma Arkansas River Valley Region and into the foothills of the Ozark Mountains to Greenleaf State Park. A different route takes place on Oct. 18. Entry fee is $65. Information, call Tammy Fate at 251-1518.
