Basketball

TU offering special men's ticket packages: The University of Tulsa is offering a pair of special ticket options for men's basketball this season.

A four-game mini-pack will be available from Monday to Friday only for $57.

The package includes tickets to Oklahoma State, South Alabama, Central Florida and UTEP. The cost equals the regular price for three single-game tickets at $19 each. Mini-packs can be purchased in person at the TU athletic ticket office, or by calling (918) 631-4688.

Also, TU is offering a "Family Fun Zone" season ticket package at a cost of $540 for four tickets (two adult and two youth). Extra youth tickets are available for $90 each for the season. For more information, call (918) 631-4688.

Cross Country

OSU men repeat Big 12 title: Oklahoma State won its second straight Big 12 title, claiming the top four spots at the A.L. Gustin Golf Course in Columbia, Mo. Senior Ryan Vail won his first individual crown, finishing the 8,000-meter course in 24 minutes, 50.67 seconds.

OSU's 24 team points were 32 points ahead of Colorado. Oklahoma finished third with 75 points.

The Cowgirls finished in 10th place and the Sooner women in 12th.

Junior Mihaela Susa led the Cowgirls, finishing the 6,000-meter race in 21st place with a time of 22:20.36. Senior Lauren Watson led the Sooners with a time of 22:58.16 and a 38th place finish.

TU's Beattie wins again: Tulsa senior John Beattie repeated as
the individual champion at the Conference USA Championship meet with a time of 24:23.4 in the 8K race at Bear Branch Park in The Woodlands, Texas. The Hurricane finished second and the women's team placed fourth overall.

Soccer

ORU women beat Southern Utah: Whitney Booth scored the game's only goal in leading Oral Roberts to a 1-0 Summit League win over Southern Utah in the regular-season finale for both teams.

ORU, 8-9-0 overall and 5-4-0 in Summit League play, clinched its first winning conference record since 2004. Booth's goal came in the 31st minute and was unassisted.

Two Cowgirls honored: Oklahoma State's Bridget Miller and Annika Niemeier have been named to ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District 6 women's soccer teams. Miller earned second-team honors, while Niemeier was named to the third team.

Equestrian

Cowgirls defeat K-State: Fourth-ranked Oklahoma State defeated No. 5 Kansas State, 12-7, at Fox Creek Farm to remain undefeated in conference play.

Volleyball

OU defeats K-State: Oklahoma overcame a slow start to defeat Kansas State, 29-31, 25-20, 25-21, 25-17. The Sooners (15-7, 8-5 Big 12) dropped the opening set in extra points before coming to life to take the final three sets over the Wildcats (8-14, 2-10).

The match went back-and-forth from the first serve and featured 38 ties and 12 lead changes. Sophomore setter Brianne Barker recorded her 17th double-double of the season with 49 assists and 22 digs.
