Texas coach Mack Brown impressed with Bradford's performance
By Staff Reports

Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford looked as if he hadn't missed a month with an injury when he returned Saturday against Baylor, Texas coach Mack Brown said Monday.
"I thought Sam looked just like he did last year when he threw five touchdown passes against us," Brown said in Monday's Big 12 teleconference. "If I had not been told that Sam had been hurt, I wouldn't have seen any difference on Saturday."
Bradford threw for 389 yards and a touchdown in the Sooners' 33-7 win after recovering from a sprained AC joint in his throwing shoulder.
OU (3-2, 1-0 Big 12) will face Brown's third-ranked and undefeated Longhorns at 11 a.m. Saturday in Dallas. The game will be televised by ABC.
"When you've got a game like this I'm excited for Sam and for Colt (McCoy)," Brown said. "Both guys are Heisman Trophy candidates. Sam's already won the Heisman. Colt was second last year. And they're buddies, which is another storyline. But it will be fun to watch them both compete against each other on Saturday."
Running backs Vondrell McGee and Tre' Newton are day-to-day with injuries and it is unknown whether they will play against OU, Brown said.
Texas opened conference play Saturday with a 38-14 win over Colorado. Jordan Shipley had a punt return for a touchdown and also caught a 39-yard touchdown pass for the Longhorns.
"Jordan has been unbelievable for us," Brown said. "He's consistent. He is one of the best punt returners in all time in Texas history and one of the best in the country this year, as well as kickoff returners. That's why we put him back on kickoff returns last Saturday against Colorado.
"But he's a consistent catcher. He's open every game. He's got great hands. And I don't think he gets the credit for the speed he has, because he makes a lot of big plays for us."

If OU hadn't lost Sam & the game to BYU then OU wouldn't have been able to figure out their weaknesses until it was too late....
The O-line has been pushed to a higher level, that's good, the defense & rb's are still the same, that's not-so-good but the coaches are now under the microscope now & I hope that's good....The WR's are amazingly horrible !!!! I can't believe they get a 4-year scholarship to play & learn at a major University....OUTSTANDING recruiting, WR's coach !!!!
Overall, OU has a chance, everybody has a chance, now what will OU do with that "chance"????

This game will be a lot closer than Smoky the Bear is predicting. I think it's a toss up.

I don't know which Sam he is talking about, the sam that I watched on Saturday looked rusty and timid. Mack's a good guy, what's he gonna do, say "yeah he looked like he only played a quarter all year"? 49-21 Horns...
