For the second time this season, Oklahoma quarterback Landry Jones has been honored as the Big 12 Conference's offensive player of the week.

The redshirt freshman shares the honor with Texas Tech running back Baron Batch.

Jones threw for 294 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions in Saturday's 42-30 win over Kansas State.

The Wildcats closed OU's lead to five points twice in the fourth quarter, and both times Jones directed scoring drives on the Sooners' next possession, completing 14 straight passes on those drives.

Jones leads the nation's freshmen quarterbacks with 17 touchdown passes this season, six more than any other first-year QB.
