1. Pressure Tech's QB: Easier said than done against Mike Leach's Red Raiders. Texas Tech has the second-highest scoring offense in the conference (40.2 points per game) and the second-best passing offense in the country. OSU struggled earlier this year against the nation's top aerial attack (Houston) and against another pass-happy spread offense (Texas). OSU needs to get pressure on Texas Tech's passers to come away with a different result.

2. Control the clock: The easiest way to stop a high-powered offense is to keep it off of the field. OSU's ground game is tops in the conference and is coming off of a 331-yard performance against Iowa State. The return of Kendall Hunter was also a plus. A similar performance Saturday will keep the clock moving and keep the Red Raiders offense on the sidelines.

3. Take advantage of turnovers: Texas Tech's turnover margin is second-worst in the conference (minus-5), and OSU's secondary has big-play potential in Perrish Cox, who's first nationally in passes defended. A timely interception or two for the Cowboys would go a long way in avenging last year's 56-20 loss to the Red Raiders in Lubbock.
