Oklahoma 3 3 0 7 — 13
Texas Tech 3 14 10 14 — 41

Attendance: 50,479

FIRST QUARTER

Texas Tech 3, Oklahoma 0

How: Matt Williams 33-yard field goal, 10:57

Drive: 63 yards in 11 plays, 4:03

Breakdown: Good start for Tech quarterback Taylor Potts, who goes 6-of-8 for 49 yards on the drive. The Sooners could use more pressure on him.

Oklahoma 3, Texas Tech 3

How: Patrick O'Hara 47-yard field goal, 1:24

Drive: 42 yards in 7 plays, 2:36

Breakdown: That is the Sooners' second field goal of over 40 yards since the start of the 2008 season. O'Hara's 47-yarder would have been good from 60.

SECOND QUARTER

Oklahoma 6, Texas Tech 3

How: O'Hara 22-yard field goal, 10:42

Drive: 51 yards in 14 plays, 4:44

Breakdown: The Sooners should have had 6 there. Adron Tennell lands with his heel out of bounds to nullify one touchdown, then has Landry Jones' scrambling pass hit his hand in the end zone on the next play.

Texas Tech 10, Oklahoma 6

How: Baron Batch 1-yard run (Williams kick), 8:48

Drive: 69 yards in 4 plays, 1:54

Breakdown: Tough to play cornerback against Tech's offense. First, Brian Jackson can't tackle Alex Torres for what should have been a short gain, and it becomes a 65-yarder. Then Dom Franks commits a pass interference penalty in the end zone.

Texas Tech 17, Oklahoma 6

How: Austin Zouzalik 21-yard pass from Potts (Williams kick), 4:58

Drive: 68 yards in 6 plays, 2:10

Breakdown: Potts and Tech's passing attack is a given. But if the Sooners can't start containing Tech running back Batch, who has 66 yards on 14 touches, this game could get out of hand.

THIRD QUARTER

Texas Tech 24, OU 6

How: Torres 24-yard pass from Potts (Williams kick), 10:38

Drive: 91 yards in 6 plays, 2:13

Breakdown: The defense just allowed a 91-yard drive into the wind. The one thing OU could rely on all year is proving terribly unreliable this afternoon.

Texas Tech 27, Oklahoma 6

How: Williams 37-yard field goal, 8:01

Drive: minus-1 yard in 4 plays, 1:25

Breakdown: Travis Lewis and Jeremy Beal make a few plays to hold Tech to a field goal, but Jones' interception still deepens the Sooners' hole.

FOURTH QUARTER

Texas Tech 34, Oklahoma 6

How: Batch 21-yard run (Williams kick), 13:43

Drive: 80 yards in 18 plays, 7:02

Breakdown: Actually, the Red Raiders gain 110 yards on a drive in which they overcome two personal foul penalties. A total cave-in on the Sooners.

Texas Tech 34, Oklahoma 13

How: Ryan Broyles 51-yard pass from Jones (O'Hara kick), 7:30

Drive: 63 yards in 5 plays, 1:01

Breakdown: Even when things go well for OU, they don't. Broyles makes a great play to bounce off two defenders and score, but starts prancing at the 10-yard line and is hit with an unsportsmanlike conduct.

Texas Tech 41, OU 13

How: Eric Stephens 4-yard run (Williams kick), :47

Drive: 82 yards in 14 plays, 6:43

Breakdown: Mike Leach shows no mercy and Bob Stoops' second-worst Big 12 loss is official.
