Summary: Tulsa received a strong pitching performance from Brandon Durden to break a three-game losing streak in winning 1-0 at Springfield on Saturday night.

The efforts of Durden and relief pitchers Edgmer Escalona and Andrew Johnston gave the Drillers their Texas League-leading 15th shutout of the season.

The only run of the game came in the top of the seventh inning. Cole Garner led off with a single and scored on Ryan Harvey's one-out RBI double.

Notable: Durden (6-2) allowed six hits in 7 1/3 innings. Since returning from Class A Modesto on July 13, Durden is 5-0 in six starts with a 1.79 ERA. ... Garner has a 12-game hitting streak, the longest for a Drillers player this season. ... The game took only two hours and nine minutes to play. It was the Drillers' shortest nine-inning game this year.

Up next: 6:10 p.m. Sunday at Springfield.

Probable starters: Tulsa Chaz Roe (5-2, 3.15 ERA); Springfield Brandon Dickson (7-7, 3.38 ERA).

Next home game: 7:05 p.m. Wednesday vs. Frisco.
