Oklahoma didn’t go too far to pick up its latest football commitment Thursday night, when Soonerscoop.com reported Oklahoma City Millwood linebacker Trayvon Henry had pledged.

Henry, rated by Rivals.com among the top 15 insider linebackers in the nation and the top 20 Oklahoma prospects overall, is the 12th player to commit to OU in the current recruiting class. He is the second Oklahoman, joining Mustang offensive lineman Bronson Irwin, and the first linebacker.

Henry, listed between 6-1 and 6-2 and 215 to 220 pounds, also considered Oklahoma State, and at one time indicated to recruiting services that Stillwater might become his next home. But the Sooners wound up winning a recruiting battle that also included the likes of Texas Tech, Arkansas and Kansas.

This should be interesting because Anative will have no idea. I'm also betting Anative has never seen the OU campus other than when someone gave him tickets for some endzone seats over 10 years ago when Blake was coaching.

Jimm, it means "let's go steal some more land", LOL. Seriously it's the title of their fight song that is very redundant...
