STILLWATER — Andrea Riley is back.

After scoring a season-low 12 points in the Cowgirls' win over Texas-Pan American on Saturday, Riley recorded 31 points, six rebounds, six assists and four steals as No. 21 Oklahoma State romped past Centenary 100-57 Tuesday night.

Looming ahead is a brutal Big 12 Conference that includes six ranked teams, five from the South Division.

"I can't wait," Riley said about the team's game Saturday at Iowa State. "We have such a great league. It was so hostile up there two years ago and it was a miracle we won."

The Cowgirls recorded 23 assists and 17 steals en route to the 43-point victory over Centenary.

Joining Riley in double figures was Tegan Cunningham with 18, Megan Byford with 16 and eight rebounds and Kelsey Hatcher with 10. In all, 11 Cowgirls figured in the scoring column, including Sapulpa native Melinda Mercado, who had two points and eight rebounds. Shaunte' Smith led OSU with 10 rebounds as the Cowgirls won the battle of the boards 49-42.

"It is what it is," OSU coach Kurt Budke said. "We will have to play better in the Big 12. We have valued the basketball the last two games. Right now, I look at a seven-player rotation but there are a couple on the fringe that could give us some valuable minutes.

"We're getting ready to get into a lot of battles. Everybody is 0-0."

Centenary (2-12) had three players in double figures, led by Cierra Bush off the bench with 11.

Ashley Jackson and Natasha Draganic finished with 10 apiece.
