The New Tulsa World Sports Extra: For the latest scores, stories, photos and stats on OU, OSU an TU football, as well as the rest of college football.

In his second start, he finishes with 327 yards and two TDs.

STILLWATER -- Zac Robinson's first college football start will be remembered as having been a crushing loss for Oklahoma State -- 41-23 last week at Troy (Ala.) University.

His second start will be remembered for having been an instant classic -- Saturday's 49-45 Big 12 win over Texas Tech.

Against Troy, Robinson tossed two interceptions and lost a fumble. Against Texas Tech, he finished with 327 total yards (211 passing, 116 rushing). Robinson had touchdown runs of 48 and 3 yards, and he connected with freshman wide receiver Dez Bryant for a 5-yard score.

And with 1:37 left to play, Robinson and tight end Brandon Pettigrew teamed up on a 54-yard play for the go-ahead touchdown.

"Zac played good, and he ran the ball really good," Cowboy coach Mike Gundy said. "He did a nice job today."

The OSU and Texas Tech offenses combined for 1,328 yards and 13 touchdowns.

"It was unbelievable," Robinson said. "You go from the highest of highs to the lowest low (and) back to the highest high. It was a lot of ups and downs, but we just kept

playing."

One of the more significant statistics was OSU's time-of-possession advantage of nearly seven minutes. The Cowboys had a 13-play touchdown drive, an 11-play scoring drive, a 10-play scoring drive and a nine-play scoring drive.

"It think what was big is we started off good," Robinson said. "We had some good drives -- some long drives that kept our defense off the field and kept (Texas Tech's) offense off the field. I think getting a good start was definitely a big key."

This was exactly the type of execution many oSu fans have seen flashes of since he came in for an injured Reid last year against aTm. He has all the moxy of a Josh Fields . . . with wheels!
