The New Tulsa World Sports Extra: For the latest scores, stories, photos and stats on OU, OSU an TU football, as well as the rest of college football.

For the first time in OSU history, Robinson, Savage and Hunter each reach the mark.

STILLWATER -- While preparing to face the Texas Tech defense, Cowboy offensive coordinator Larry Fedora said, Oklahoma State did not work extensively on its option ground game.

But when Fedora recognized that the option might result in big yardage, quarterback Zac Robinson and his tailbacks were off to the races.

OSU rushed for 366 yards in Saturday's 49-45 triumph over Texas Tech.

Robinson, making his first start in a home game, masterfully executed the option.

He was accurate with his pitches to trailing backs Dantrell Savage and Kendall Hunter.

For the first time in OSU football history, three Cowboy players reached the 100-yard mark in rushing.

Savage had 130 yards on 25 attempts, while Robinson ran for 116 yards and two touchdowns. Hunter, a freshman, netted 113 yards.

Robinson averaged 8.9 yards per attempt, while Hunter averaged 8.1.

"We didn't expect to run (the option)," Fedora said. "(The Red Raiders) made a slight adjustment, and we went to it. Zac did a great job with it, and the backs did a great job with it. Zac is a good player. He played very well today."

Robinson scored on a 48-yard run and Hunter scored on a 46-yarder.

"We worked a little bit (on the option), and they (the Red Raiders) ended up giving it to us a ton," Robinson said. "We always feel comfortable with it.

"We focused all week on getting back to this offense playing the way we know, and that's just having fun," Robinson said. "We're not having fun unless we're moving the ball."
