OSU expects 50,000 for Troy contest

Oklahoma State officials say they expect a crowd of at least 50,000 for Saturday's football game against Troy (Ala.) University.

If 50,000 are in attendance for the 6:05 p.m. contest at Boone Pickens Stadium, it would OSU's largest home crowd since the 1998 Bedlam game, when 50,614 watched the Cowboys defeat Oklahoma.

OSU's single-game attendance record of 51,416 was set on Nov. 9, 1996, when OSU lost 27-17 to OU. By BILL HAISTEN, World sports writer
