Robinson's biggest win: In his 17th game as Oklahoma State's starting quarterback, Zac Robinson passed for two touchdowns and ran for one as the Cowboys won 28-23 at then-No. 3-ranked Missouri.

With Saturday's victory, Robinson is 12-5 as the starting QB and has directed OSU to victory in five of its last six games away from Stillwater.

Eight minutes after having a third-quarter pass intercepted at Missouri, Robinson threw a 40-yard touchdown strike to sophomore wide receiver Damian Davis. Robinson and Davis also connected for a 31-yard, fourth-quarter TD.

"(Robinson's) poise throughout the game worked in our favor," Cowboy coach Mike Gundy said. "As he matures, you should get more of that. He's been very effective for us."

Pickens celebrates: Joining the wild celebration in the OSU locker room was T. Boone Pickens, whose donations are largely responsible for the Cowboys' stadium renovation.

"(Pickens) was excited," Gundy said. "He hadn't had a lot to be excited about (because of the recent stock-market crisis). I was glad that we could kind of swing his mood a little bit."

Big night: Against Missouri, Davis savored a breakout performance. Two of his three catches went for second-half touchdowns. His 40-yard TD catch gave OSU a 21-17 lead with 2:01 remaining in the third quarter. His 31-yard TD reception made it 28-17 with 6:30 left to play.

In five games before the Missouri trip, the 6-foot-5, 197-pound Davis had a combined total of only four catches.

"Damian is an interesting person," Gundy said. "He has a tremendous amount of ability that is somewhat untapped. He has a lot of savvy.

"Within the last month or so, we've seen a different side of him. He's got a smile on his face. He's got terrific body language. He's practicing hard. Because of that, in my opinion, he's now having success."

Daniel's numbers: During the first half of Saturday's game, Missouri quarterback Chase Daniel was 12-of-21 passing for 122 yards. During the second half, he passed for 268 yards. Of his 31 second-half pass attempts, only one fell incomplete. There were 27 completed passes and three interceptions.
