Bedlam kickoff changed to TBA

 Earlier this summer, ABC Sports selected to televise the Nov. 29 Bedlam football game between Oklahoma State and Oklahoma in Stillwater.

But the kickoff time may not be announced until Nov. 23.

When it picked the Bedlam game, ABC tabbed it for either a 2:30 or 7 p.m. kickoff. According to Big 12 Conference assistant commissioner for communications Bob Burda, under the league's TV contract with ABC, the network has to inform the conference of its plans for the game by Nov. 1.

However, with the teams sporting a combined 11-1 record with both ranked in the top 8, that decision could be delayed.

"(ABC) can change their request, which we would not unreasonably withhold," Burda said in an e-mail. "This year, we anticipate they will request a six-day pick (decision coming on Nov. 23) to consider the game as a national, prime-time telecast. It depends on the team records and how it impacts the national scene."

Sounds to me like the kickoff time was already TBA. What changed?
