Cowgirls smash Flyers

STILLWATER — The Oklahoma State women's basketball team wrapped up exhibition play Saturday with a 126-60 win over the Oklahoma Flyers in front of 2,410 fans at Gallagher-Iba Arena.

"I thought it was better than the last one. I thought the intensity was better from start to finish," Cowgirl head coach Kurt Budke said. "There were some dead spots, but sometimes when you get in a track meet, there will be some dead spots. Overall, I am pretty pleased."

Like their opener against East Central on Tuesday, the 14th-ranked Cowgirls got out of the gate quickly, scoring the game's first 10 points.
