Recruit switches his commitment to OSU

Defensive end Anthony Rogers, rated by Scout.com as a three-star national recruit from North Little Rock (Ark.) High School, reportedly has switched his verbal commitment and says he will sign with Oklahoma State.

Rogers had committed to Mississippi State during the spring, but rescinded that commitment during the weekend as Bulldog coach Sylvester Croom announced his resignation.

Scout.com reported on Monday that the 6-4, 238-pound Rogers has confirmed he has switched his commitment to OSU. Verbal commitments are nonbinding. Feb 4 is the first day recruits may sign national letters of intent.

If Rogers does sign with the Cowboys, he would have an opportunity to play immediately. This season, OSU ranks 85th nationally in total defense and 109th in pass defense.

The Cowboys have recorded only 13 sacks in 12 games.

About time we started getting some more players from Arkansas. The Razorpigs have been getting their share of good players from Okie for a while now, of course not recruiting Felix Jones was a mistake on Ok State's part because I think they could've gotten him.

I should have said not recruiting Felix hard because they did offer him...
