OKC Star Spencer 34, Glenpool 20
GLENPOOL — Fifth-ranked OKC Star Spencer upset No. 1 Glenpool tonight at Chaffin Sports Complex, 34-20, snapping the Warriors' 23-game winning streak. Glenpool's loss hands Star Spencer the District 4A-2 title.
After trailing 22-7 at the start of the fourth quarter, Glenpool (9-1, 6-1) fought back in the fourth. Quarterback Derek Allen scored on a 5-yard rush to bring the Warriors within eight with 5:45 left.
But the Bobcats' standout tailbacks were too much.
Darwin Rideau, who's drawn interest from Oklahoma and Oklahoma State, returned the ensuing kickoff 55 yards into Glenpool territory. On the next play, Terrance Olds rumbled 43 yards into the end zone to seal the win for Star Spencer (8-2, 7-0).
Star Spencer added to its lead moments later after the second of Glenpool's three interceptions of the night. Rideau rushed up the middle but ran into a wall of Glenpool defenders. He pitched the ball back to quarterback Franky Jamison, who ran eight yards into the end zone to put the game out of reach.
Glenpool tailback Marco Nelson and quarterback Derek Allen each had a touchdown run, and Alton Adkins added a score for the Warriors in the fourth quarter.

Broken
Arrow 45, Bartlesville 28
BROKEN ARROW — Archie Bradley accounted for four second-half touchdowns, pacing Broken Arrow to a 45-28 high school football win over Bartlesville before about 8,000 spectators Friday at Memorial Stadium.
Bradley threw for two TDs and rushed for two more and four Tigers intercepted Bruins quarterback Kirby Schoenthaler as Broken Arrow extended its winning streak over Bartlesville to 15 games.
The win clinched second place in District 6A-3, giving Broken Arrow the right to host in the first round of the playoffs. Yukon was beating Choctaw 21-0 and seemed the likely third-place team in District 6A-2 to play at Broken Arrow next week.
Both teams finished 8-2. Bartlesville took the third seed in District 6A-3 and will make its first playoff appearance in seven years, visiting 6A-2 runner-up Owasso next week.
