1. Class 5A — No. 9 Central (8-2) at No. 8 Bixby (6-4)
The host Spartans have a five-year streak of winning playoff openers, but they will be tested by the Braves, who allow only 9.9 points per game. Central is making its first playoff appearance since 2003.
This game will feature two of the area's top players. Central's Demarco Cobbs has rushed for 1,319 yards and 17 TDs as a quarterback. He's also an outstanding special teams player and has made a big impact as a defensive back in the second half of the season. Bixby's DeWitt Jennings III has rushed for 948 yards and 12 TDs at tailback and also is having an outstanding season at safety.
2. Class 6A — No. 6 Bartlesville (8-2) at Owasso (6-4)
Bartlesville coach Ron Smith returns to face the school he coached from 2001-05 as the Bruins make their first playoff appearance since 2002.
Bartlesville has 6A's fourth-ranked offense, led by quarterback Kirby Schoenthaler, who has passed for 2,311 yards and 26 TDs. His top receivers are Mike Thompson (46 catches, 891 yards, 10 TDs) and Garrett Powell (41 catches, 892 yards, 12 TDs).
Owasso has a strong defense that includes defensive back Aaron Colvin, an OU commit.
3. Class 4A — No. 5 OKC Douglass (7-3) at No. 3 Glenpool (9-1)
Some Douglass coaches and players were at Glenpool last Friday to see the defending 4A champion Warriors' 23-game winning streak snapped by Oklahoma City Star Spencer, 34-20. That had to be
a confidence boost for Douglass, which defeated Star Spencer 34-28 in Week 3.
Glenpool will need a big game from tailback Marco Nelson, who has rushed for 1,234 yards and 17 TDs.
4. Class 6A — Enid (6-4) at No. 3 Broken Arrow (8-2)
Broken Arrow coach Ron Lancaster is the winningest coach in Enid history with 78 victories from 1981-90, including a state title in 1983.
A key for the host Tigers is if they can stop Enid running back Jonathan Burton, who has rushed for 1,220 yards and 11 TDs. Broken Arrow quarterback Archie Bradley appears to improve every week. He has passed for 1,145 yards and 18 TDs.
5. Class 6A — Claremore (6-4) at No. 2 Union (9-1)
The visiting Zebras' defense has held high-scoring offenses such as Jenks (34 points), Bartlesville (28) and Broken Arrow (24) well below their season averages so expect Claremore to be able stay close to Union for at least a half. It could be similar to Union's 31-6 win over Enid last week where it led 14-6 at halftime. Claremore is coming off a 21-0 victory over Sapulpa.
Claremore is making its first playoff appearance since 2005. Union, the defending state champion, has lost just one of its last 11 first-round games.
6. Class 4A — No. 9 Wagoner (7-3) at No. 10 Jay (7-3)
Expect a low-scoring game as Wagoner allows just 11.4 points and Jay gives up 14.3.
Quarterbacks Prince McJunkins of Wagoner and Brandon Edge of Jay are pass-run threats who have shown the ability to make plays in pressure situations. Edge has passed for 1,471 yards and 11 TDs while McJunkins has thrown for 1,059 yards and seven touchdowns.
7. Class 6A — Yukon (5-5) at No. 1 Jenks (10-0)
The visiting Millers will make their first playoff appearance since 1998 while the Trojans look for their 10th state title in 14 years.
Yukon sophomore quarterback Corben Jones has been a problem for defenses since throwing seven TDs in the opener. Jenks QB Sawyer Kollmorgen has passed for 1,767 yards and 17 TDs. Tailback Zack Langer leads 6A with 29 TDs and is second with 1,492 rushing yards.
8. Class 5A — Ada (7-3) at No. 1 Bishop Kelley (10-0)
The host Comets enter the playoffs in high gear after averaging 41 points the last two weeks. Senior quarterback Jack Cameron leads a balanced attack with 17 TD passes, including 11 to Joe Dowdell. Stephen Sherwood has rushed for 1,051 yards and 12 TDs.
9. Class 5A — Pryor (7-3) at No. 5 East Central (9-1)
The host Cardinals carry an eight-game winning streak into the playoffs while the Tigers have lost three of their last four. Pryor is making its first playoff appearance since 2003.
10. Class 3A — Dewey (6-4) at No. 3 Metro Chr. (10-0)
Metro's Beau Marsaln leads the state with 39 TD passes. Dewey's Casey Strate tops 3A with 12 picks.
Other good bets:
Adair at Lincoln Christian, Catoosa at Broken Bow, Checotah at Berryhill, Claremore Sequoyah at Roland, Collinsville at Sallisaw, Hale at McAlester, Hominy at Salina, Kiefer at Gans, Okmulgee at Cascia Hall, Pawhuska at Vian, Poteau at Oologah, Weleetka at Porter, Woodland at Commerce.

You guys are hurting for Top 10 games with those last four. How about branching out of your area and taking in some Class 2A, A, B and C games.
