Each week during the regular season, the World updated its rankings of the top 10 metro players. Today we present the final rankings until high school honors week in late December. The rankings are based primarily on performance this season, with potential and previous years' performance also considered. Players' ranking last week in parentheses:

1. Demarco Cobbs

Central, QB-DB (1)

Helped the Braves clinch their first playoff berth since 2003 as he rushed for 264 yards on 14 carries and scored three touchdowns in a 33-3 victory over Stilwell. Also completed 2-of-3 passes for 15 yards, made six tackles and blocked a field goal. The Texas commit leads 5A with 21 touchdowns and ranks second in rushing with 1,339 yards.

2. Eric Bennett

Booker T. Washington, QB-DB (3)

Returned for the season finale after missing three games due to a shoulder injury and led the Hornets to a 10-2 win over 5A No. 8 Bixby. The Arkansas commit had 156 total yards and scored the game's only TD. Accounted for 21 TDs this season.

3. Marco Nelson

Glenpool, RB (2)

Carried 30 times for 158 yards and a TD in a 34-20 loss to Oklahoma City Star Spencer. TU commit also had an 18-yard catch. Has 1,234 rushing yards on 98 carries with 21 TDs this season.

4. Jake Alexander

Jenks, OT (4)

TU commit led another dominating performance by the offensive line as Jenks racked up 483 yards en route to a 56-21 victory over Sand Springs.

5.
Zack Langer

Jenks, RB (7)

Had seven carries for 116 yards and three TDs against Sand Springs. The junior leads 6A with 29 touchdowns and 174 points, and ranks second with 1,492 rushing yards.

6. Jake Schooley

Metro Christian, WR-DB (6)

Caught four passes for 77 yards and a TD in the undefeated Patriots' 56-6 win over Okmulgee. Also had seven tackles. Has 55 catches for 942 yards and 12 TDs this season.

7. Roman Wilson

Lincoln Christian, WR-DB-K (5)

Kicked four extra points in a 48-0 win over Nowata. The combination of the game being a rout and him being double-teamed led to Wilson not catching a pass for the first time this season. Ranks second in 2A with 129 points.

8. Stephen Sherwood

Bishop Kelley, RB (8)

Had 12 carries for 61 yards and two TDs in a half of a 44-7 win over Miami to cap an undefeated regular season. Has 1,051 rushing yards this year.

9. Beau Marsaln

Metro Christian, QB (NR)

Makes it into the rankings for the first time after passing for 347 yards and six TDs in less than three quarters against Okmulgee. Also rushed for 32 yards on three carries. Leads the state with 39 passing TDs in nine games and ranks second with 2,719 passing yards.

10. Terrance Dixon
