Jenks 28, Edmond Memorial 14

JENKS — Zack Langer had 32 carries for 264 yards and three touchdowns to lead top-ranked Jenks past No. 8 Edmond Memorial 28-14 on Friday night in the Class 6A quarterfinals at Hunter-Dwelley Stadium.

Langer's 5-yard touchdown run with 9:32 left in the fourth quarter snapped a 14-14 tie. Four minutes later, Langer added a 59-yard TD run.

Jenks quarterback Sawyer Kollmorgen completed 14-of-20 passes for 203 yards and a TD. Jenks (12-0) advances to play the Southmoore-Bartlesville winner in the semifinals next weekend.

The Bulldogs (8-4), who gave up two TDs in the first seven minutes, tied the game at 14 on Kameron Doolittle's 17-yard TD pass to Parker Langford with 4:57 left in the third quarter. That came on the play following a roughing-the-kicker penalty on a missed field goal.

Jenks scored on its first two possessions. Langer opened the scoring with a 14-yard TD run. Jenks' second TD came on Kollmorgen's 27-yard pass to Tyler Ott.

Edmond Memorial scored on Josh Sierra's 1-yard TD run with 2:48 left in the first half.

Union 63, Lawton 25

Union dominated on both sides of the ball Friday, routing Lawton, 63-25, in tonight's quarterfinals game at Union Tuttle Stadium.

The second-ranked Redskins exploded with a 28-point third quarter to put the game out of reach. Six different Redskins rushed for touchdowns, and Union (11-1) had 255 rushing yards through the first three quarters.

Union also scored on a 55-yard punt return for a score by Thomas Roberson and a 50-yard bomb from Chase Boyce to Roberson.

The Redskins looked impressive early, scoring on six of their first seven possessions against Lawton (9-3). Union also got on the board with a trick play, faking a field goal and having holder Luke Snider roll left, rushing 26 yards for a touchdown.

Union, the defending Class 6A state champion, advances to face Broken Arrow in next week's state semifinals.
