The streak is over. Class C No. 4 Deer Creek-Lamont ended top-ranked Shattuck's 93-game winning streak with a 16-12 upset victory in Friday night's quarterfinals.

The top-ranked Indians (11-1) held the state's all-time win streak in football, regardless of class, and held the nation's all-time win streak for 8-man football-playing teams.

Shattuck scored in the fourth quarter on a 55-yard pass from Brett Starbuck to Kelby Schick to cut the Eagles' lead to 16-12. The Indians got the ball back, but were held on downs at Deer Creek-Lamont's 36-yard line with 4:33 to play. The Eagles were able to run out the clock and hold on for the historic victory.

Deer Creek-Lamont's Derric Richards had 129 yards on 29 carries. Richards gave the Eagles an 8-6 lead after one quarter with a 6-yard touchdown run and a subsequent two-point conversion pass from Lawson Thompson.

Richards threw a 10-yard touchdown pass to Thompson in the second quarter, and Thompson's two-point conversion run made it 16-6 at halftime.

Entering the game, Shattuck had allowed only three first-half touchdowns all season.

Starbuck finished with 125 yards rushing for Shattuck.

Dewey upends Clinton

Highlight: The Strate brothers of Dewey were too much for Clinton and its star running back Delans Griffin. Casey Strate caught three touchdowns from Clint Strate to help the Class 3A No. 7 Bulldoggers post a 19-14 quarterfinal home win over the No. 5 Red Tornadoes.

Keys: The Strates connected for touchdowns of 52, 45 and 28 yards to give Dewey (8-4) a 19-7 lead in the fourth quarter.

Notes: Griffin, who has committed to Texas Tech, had scoring runs of 3 and 2 yards for Clinton (8-4).

Pawhuska pounds Morris

Highlight: Kyle Culver accounted for 200 yards offense and two touchdowns, while Hank Powell scored both offensively and defensively as Class 2A No. 8 Pawhuska posted a 34-0 second-round shutout at Morris.

Keys: Culver scored on a 50-yard run and threw a 40-yard touchdown to Tino Hall in the second quarter to give the Huskies (10-2) a 21-0 halftime lead. Culver had 97 yards rushing and 103 yards passing. Powell, who opened the scoring with a 3-yard touchdown run in the first quarter, added a 98-yard interception return for a TD.

Notes: Powell finished with 12 tackles.

El Reno stops McAlester

Highlight: Class 5A No. 3 El Reno stopped McAlester quarterback Tony Kiefer short of the end zone on a fourth down-and-goal play from the 1-yard line with 44 seconds left to help the host Indians post a pulsating 21-14 victory over the No. 7 Buffaloes in a quarterfinal game. El Reno advances to play Midwest City Carl Albert in next week's semifinals.

Keys: Jakeil Everheart's 9-yard touchdown pass to Matt Pruitt in the fourth quarter gave the Indians (12-0) the 21-14 advantage. Everheart earlier had an 18-yard touchdown pass to Jovia Franklin.

Notes: McAlester (10-2) drove inside El Reno's 30 four times in the first half, but only came away with one touchdown. Kiefer had both of the Buffaloes' touchdowns on runs of 3 and 5 yards.
