Who had the best performance in the first round of the high school football playoffs? We have five candidates, and you can vote for player of the week online:

Jon Coleman (Broken Arrow): Junior linebacker intercepted two passes inside the Broken Arrow 20 and had 11 tackles in a 24-17 win over Midwest City.

Kyle Cowan (Cascia Hall): Senior tight end-linebacker caught a TD pass and registered 11 tackles, including three sacks in a 28-7 win over Purcell.

DeWitt Jennings III (Bixby): Senior tailback-safety rushed for 131 yards and two TDs, passed for the game-winning TD and had 14 tackles and an interception in a win over Shawnee.

Casey Strate (Dewey): Senior wideout-defensive back caught nine passes for 254 yards and three TDs in a 19-14 win over Clinton.

Michael Wangsgard (Claremore Sequoyah): Senior running back/linebacker had 10 carries for 141 yards and a TD in a 40-14 win at Tuttle. Also had 12 tackles, an interception and caused a fumble.

Voting lasts until 3 p.m. Tuesday. The winner will be honored in Wednesday’s Tulsa World.
