Although many pick the 2000 Backyard Bowl as the greatest game in the Jenks-Union football rivalry, my choice is their 2007 regular-season meeting.

The hour-long presentation of the 2007 game will be rebroadcast at noon on Friday (Nov. 27) on the NFL Network (cable 252) as part of the Greatest High School Rivalries series. There will be three other classic rivalry games rebroadcast following the 2007 Backyard Bowl that originally was shown on the Versus network.

Both the 2000 & '07 games were epic. That's why Union/Jenks is the best high school rivalry in the nation. Another chapter is very possible next week for the gold ball.
