Arena Football: Talons sign trio
The Tulsa Talons signed quarterback Justin Allgood, receiver Jeff Hughley and linebacker Jamar Ransom for 2010. Allgood threw an af2-record 108 touchdowns last year and is 35-5 over three seasons as starter.
Talons open tryouts Sunday
The Tulsa Talons, who are preparing for their first year in the new Arena Football league, will host an open tryout Sunday at Soccer World, 5816 S. 118th East Ave.
League targets 24 teams
Completing the makeup and structure of the first Arena Football 1 season is more pressing than the issue of how much to pay the players — at least over the next few days, officials said Tuesday.
