LAWLESS - Kathryn, 75, beloved wife, mother, Nana, sister and aunt, passed peacefully and went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 30. She was born in Tulsa on August 16, 1933, to Marietta and Nelson McElroy. She graduated from Sand Springs High School and attended the University of Tulsa. On August 28, 1954, she married her high school sweetheart, Jerry. She was a homemaker and retired secretary who enjoyed cooking for her family and spoiling her 7 grandchildren. She played clarinet and violin in high school and college, and her favorite pastimes included gardening and reading. A central part of her life revolved around her faith and activities at First Presbyterian Church. In addition to her husband, Jerry, she is survived by: son, Alan and his wife Lennette; son, Jeff and his wife Laura; daughter, Mimi Blanchard and her husband, Rex; son, Sean and his wife Michelle; grandchildren: Tonya Morton and her husband John, Jenny Lawless, Sarah Blanchard, Austin Lawless, Matthew Blanchard, Adam Lawless and Garin Lawless. She is also survived by sisters: Barbara Price and her husband Gordon; Louise Barney and her husband Jack; Mary Boucher and her husband Frank; sister-in-law Jeanne McElroy; brothers-in- law: Lyndon Lawless and his wife Ruth; and Robert Lawless and his wife Anita. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved brother Scotty McElroy. A celebration of Kathryn's life will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, September 4, 2008, at First Presbyterian Church of Tulsa, with Dr. Jim Miller officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of Moore's Southlawn. 663-2233. Kathryn Lawless
