Luce Richard Dick Ray

LUCE - Richard (Dick) Ray, Dick Luce was born in Bradford, PA in 1936 and passed away October 26, 2008. He graduated from Penn State University as a Petroleum Engineer and worked in the oil and gas industry in West Texas and Tulsa, OK for many years. His family was priority and they have many fond memories of ski trips to Colorado, driving to motorcycle competitions and travels to Europe and South America. The family moved to Overland Park in 1989 where he made many friends and enjoyed golf with friends at Overland Park Golf Course. He is survived by: his wife, Jackie; 3 sons and their spouses, Richard and Cilla, Raleigh, NC, Paul and Elizabeth, Grand Rapids, MI, and Gary and Jessica, Grants, NM; and much loved grandchildren, Jackson and Clara of Grand Rapids. Dick's family wishes to thank Hospice and doctors and nurses at Olathe Medical Center. Memorial contributions to The Hospice House, 12000 Wornall Road, Kansas City, MO 64145. There will be a memorial service at a later date. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.kccremation.com. (Arr; Cremation Society of KS & MO, 913-383-9888).
