Big Sleep, an experimental/indie rock band from Jenks and Riverfield, offers a sound commonly unseen in the bands of member's peers. Their phenomenal grasp of music, as well their willingness to venture outside of the musical box, has allowed them to establish themselves as a strong and unique presence in the Tulsa music scene. Their songs rival others commonly heard today, with each one transitioning effortlessly from haunting ambiance to make-you-itch-to-dance groove tunes. (Think Radiohead with an exploratory twist.) The result is an amalgamation of flare, professionalism and creativity. Big Sleep is one for the books.
