How do you think the city should finance the estimated $1.6 billion in street improvements necessary to bring them to an average grade?
Funding should come from a combination of sources that fairly represent the users of our streets. Funding must include individuals residing outside the city from resources derived from doing business in Tulsa.

What do you think the city should do to further development along the Arkansas River and how should it be funded?
The city should be a partner in planning river development. Primary funding should be by private investment. Willingness to invest private dollars would be a testimony to the viability of the development process and the ability of the final product to sustain itself. Public funding is generally more expensive due to added layers of bureaucracy and oversight. Decisions should be market driven.

Would you support/not support public financial assistance to further downtown commercial development that could include a baseball stadium for the Drillers team? Please explain your position.
Support for public financial assistance for downtown development must come from those who will be asked to pay for it. Plans must be transparent and take into account the changing economy and available dollars in the hands those who will utilize the facilities. (Will they come if we build it?) Unless the return makes sense and personal benefit understood the development will fail.

What would be three goals you would like to accomplish if you are elected?
a. Give my priority to constituency driven issues.
b. Develop more user-friendly access to and from my constituency.
1. Direct internet line.
2. Private telephone messaging
c. Work with city officials to achieve realistic goals without obligating constituents to long term financial burdens.

What do you see as personal strengths that you would bring to the position?

a. Lifetime residency (military service excepted) in midtown Tulsa.
b. Experience in commercial leasing and development and interface with associated city entities.
c. Leadership skills developed through military service.
d. Ability to stand alone to achieve critical objectives deemed vital to the majority of my constituency.
e. A genuine concern, compassion, and respect for all individuals.
