1. What are the top three issues in your district?
We need to focus on lowering property taxes, fixing roads, and making sure our state runs as efficiently as possible.
2. Lawmakers approved a stand-still budget for the coming fiscal year. Critics blamed previous tax cuts for a drop in revenues, while tax cut supporters say such cuts spur the economy. Do you believe Oklahoma can sustain additional tax cuts?
I believe that not only can we sustain them but they are needed to bring new jobs to our state and help our citizens live better quality lives. In order to do so we must also reduce spending at the capital.
3. Do you think illegal immigration is a serious problem facing Oklahoma? Why or why not?
I believe it is important for us to know who is in our country and state and why. It is not fair to grant benefits to illegals and expect tax payers to foot the ball. It is a problem that must be address both locally and nationally.
4. Do you believe voters should be required to produce identification at the polls?
Yes.
5. Should the governor be taken out of the parole process?
No, as the governor it is his/her responsibility to protest the citizens of the state. Knowing who is released allows another layer of protection for the citizens of our state.
