1. What are the top three issues in your district?
Accountability, honesty and openness in government; illegal immigration, and the economy.

2. Lawmakers approved a stand-still budget for the coming fiscal year. Critics blamed previous tax cuts for a drop in revenues, while tax cut supporters say such cuts spur the economy. Do you believe Oklahoma can sustain additional tax cuts?
Tax cuts in the right areas do spur the economy. I believe in reducing our corporate tax rate from the 19th highest in the nation is an example of an economy-spurring sustainable tax cut.

3. Do you think illegal immigration is a serious problem facing Oklahoma? Why or why not?
Yes. I talk to the residents who are directly affected by the results of a huge influx of illegal immigrants into Tulsa over the last 20 years. They are not happy that our city and state (until HB 1804) had not been enforcing the immigration laws.

4. Do you believe voters should be required to produce identification at the polls?
A voter registration card should be issued for the sole purpose of verifying eligibility to vote, based on proof on residence and a tax receipt.

5. Should the governor be taken out of the parole process?
Absolutely not. The governor is an elected official and therefore can be held accountable for his decisions by the voters. This is preferable to unelected bureaucrats making decisions that could endanger Oklahoma’s and Tulsa’s communities and families.
