1. What are the top three issues in your district?
Education, healthcare and immigration.

2. Lawmakers approved a stand-still budget for the coming fiscal year. Critics blamed previous tax cuts for a drop in revenues, while tax cut supporters say such cuts spur the economy. Do you believe Oklahoma can sustain additional tax cuts?
Governments run on taxes, but it is the responsibility of legislators to find a balance for government funding with as little tax burden as possible. I think our current tax burden is adequate if government waste is cut. I am uncertain at this time regarding future cuts.

3. Do you think illegal immigration is a serious problem facing Oklahoma? Why or why not?
Yes. There are so many variables intertwined with immigration that there is no easy answers for the immigration problems that face us today.

4. Do you believe voters should be required to produce identification at the polls?
Identification might prove to be a burden for some voters and would have little impact on voter fraud.

5. Should the governor be taken out of the parole process?
Yes, except for violent offenses, or offenses that endanger public safety, such as repeat DUI’s.
