David Cook: Back in Blue Springs

Hi Cary - I wanted you to be the first to know that Jason Yeager was actually born in Tulsa in 1979. His mom moved the family to Grand Prairie when Jason was 3 years old, but his aunt, uncle and cousins live here in Tulsa. The grandmother to whom he dedicated Moon River was the most wonderful person you could ever know and she also raised her children, Jason's mother and his aunt, right here in Tulsa. In fact they both went to Union High School.

You could be the first person in the media to report this exciting news about our own Jason Yeager so I hope you use the information kindly, as I remember Jason very fondly. I was motivated to write to you after seeing your earlier remarks about him. I'm sure you didn't know he was a Tulsan by birth. And I'll let you in on another interesting fact: he has a natural blonde streak in his hair, just like his aunt. The stylists at American Idol may have thought it would be interesting to highlight that natural occurrence.

Was shocked with Alaina's removal on Idol. Kady should have been the one to go. Overall the talent is good but my bets are on David Marcheleta to win if he stays as consistent as he has been. He has all the qualities to be Idol. Can't vote as I am at work at that time but watch it the moment I get home even if it is 1:30 in the morning.

Alaina was talented but I said from the first she wouldn't make it. She looked like Carrie, sounded like Carrie and hailed from the same area as Carrie. However, she wasn't quite as good as Carrie. People like to pick a favorite and I didn't think people would vote for an "almost as good as Carrie" performer.

Will someone please tell me I'm not the only one who believes Paula Abdul has completely lost it? She wasn't as bad tonight with the women, but with the men on Tuesday night she was so spaced out it was embarrassing. All she does is repeat most of what Randy has already said, but she tries to say it in a different way and just keeps fumbling around for the right words that never materialize. Simon tries to cut her off when she starts rambling, but it's no use; she just won't shut herself up. You can tell she's trying so hard to say something eloquent, but it's simply not in her capacity. She seriously needs help.

Love watching the contestants, hate watching Paula Abdul. She needs some serious help. My favorite is David Cook.

I think Elaina could have come up with something a little more clever than "she does not want her food to touch"----That made her look like an airhead..and a wanna be Carrie Underwood! Gives Blondes a bad name!!

I think David Marcheleta rocks. Very humble guy and deserves to win.
