Some of the ways organizers will reduce Oklahoma's "carbon footprint": offer organic, locally grown foods; not allow styrofoam on-site; recycle plastic and paper; use bio-degradable and compostable paper products; use biodiesel and/or solar powered generators on festival grounds. Additionally, we will be further offsetting our carbon intake by using carbon-free products whenever possible and purchasing Carbon Offset credits to invest in alternative (clean) energy in our region. |
