Saied Music Co. of Tulsa is donating gift cards for $1,000 to the first-place winners, $500 to the second-place winners and $250 to the third-place winners.
The Bart Betow Memorial People's Choice Award, which is decided by the audience, is a $500 cash prize donated by the Betow family of Tulsa.
National sponsors, in conjunction with the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus, will provide the first-place winning band, as decided by the evening's judges, with the following: A free entry into the John Lennon Songwriting Contest; a professional recording session onboard the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus; a Maxell prize package for each band member (CDRs and disc wipes); an Apple iPod Shuffle for each band member; a Crate Profiler Model 5; scholarships oo Digital Media Academy; an AMPEG-BA112 bass combo; one Godin guitar (model/type varies); 1,000 custom CDs in full color jacket and three-color on-disc printing, courtesy of Disc Makers; BOSS TU-80; one copy of Rock Band 2; a Pro Account on purevolume.com; Propellerhead’s Reason.
