cause we are living in a festival world, and i'm a festival girl.

What projects is your band currently working on?

album, video, & tour + world domination

How has the economy changed your band, touring, making music, etc.?

we work late at night, scrounge for food, and fight other bands to the death.

As a musician, which three bands are you most looking forward to seeing at Dfest?

googol bordello, recorder, cake

Will you offer meet-and-greets after/before your shows? If so, when/where?

Hell yeah! happy hour with the dactyls at 5p.m. at joe mama's pizza, and then rage time at 7p.m.

What's the funniest/weirdest story you have about any song you've written?

The song OCEAN DINO has a very interesting story behind it: "megladon was the son of the ocean, he is swimming around, swimming with the sharks of the ocean, as they are on the prowl, he is blessing the souls of the mermaids, who are singing to the stones on the ground. those dead, briney-briney mermaids, diamonds rubies and pearls." it speaks of our sharkman dinosaur character flailing to the depths of the ocean after an attack from predator-x. he meets a lot of dead mermaids, they find this pile of rubies that gives them all power to return and battle predator-x to the death.

What can fans expect during your Dfest performance?

dino fly-girls, ancient sweaty bugs, life-size predator-x, and volcano rumbling music.

How is Dfest different from any other show you do?

Where would you like your band to be two years from today?

touring in a blimp or hot-air balloon around the world.

they are all shape shifters.

lucas
