1. What would be your top three priorities if you are elected?
2. 1) I will be aggressive and pro-active in finding areas where the city can run more efficiently. We will not busy ourselves performing bureaucratic audits that do not produce real cost saving suggestions. In addition to the required audit schedule I will promote more emphasis on performance audits. The auditors office will not behave as though our toes have been stepped on when external forensic audits are suggested.
   
   2) I will work with the council and the mayor. If the council or mayor directs us to do a job, we will do it or we will have a logical dialogue as to why a different approach might work better. But the bottom-line we won’t hem haw around for 7 months.
   
   3) We need a watchdog that has multiple years of experience auditing business operations to eliminate excess costs. I am that person. In addition, I will aggressively maximize controls and improve operating efficiencies; in other words to reduce cost without compromising services. I will work everyday to protect the taxpayer’s hard earned dollar!
