Jumpshot Geography

This in-paper feature runs Tuesdays through Thursdays form Tuesday, March 10 to Thursday, April 2, except during Spring Break, March 17 to March 19.

NIE has collaborated with the Oklahoma Alliance for Geographic Education (OKAGE) to create Jumpshot Geography.

This feature connects the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship to geography.

On Tuesdays and Thursdays, questions cover physical, cultural and historical geography. There will also be geographic trivia, science and math components.

On Wednesday, there are questions and activities related to a specific map.
