Inaugurate – to put into office with a formal ceremony; to begin officially

Tradition – the doctrines, knowledge, practices, and customs passed down from one generation to another

Oath – a solemn promise in the name of God or on a Bible that a person will speak only the truth

Execute – to carry out; to put into effect; to validate, as by signing; to carry out what has been called for in a will; to put to death by the legal authority

Preserve – to save from destruction or injury; to prepare food to prevent spoilage or decay
