The Board of Directors of CommunityCare is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert L. (Bob) Bush as President and Chief Executive Officer effective July 1, 2019.
Bob has served the organization as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since January 2019 and has served as the interim President and Chief Executive Officer since February.
"I am honored to lead CommunityCare and am dedicated to guiding the organization, including the ongoing implementation of our business transformation and strategic initiatives that will build upon the legacy of exceptional service and caring for the communities we serve," Bob said.
With two decades of experience in the insurance industry, including multiple positions at the executive level and as a consultant, Bob brings an extensive understanding of insurance company operations to CommunityCare. His areas of expertise include accounting, finance, actuarial services, data reporting and analysis, underwriting, and enterprise risk management, and his past experience also includes teaching mathematics and statistics at the high school and college levels.
Bob received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from California State University and a master’s degree in statistics from the University of California, Riverside.
