The Posh Blow Dry Bar, 1730 S. Boston Ave., was named the “Best place to be blown away” by Tulsa People Magazine in 2014.

Hezinger created the Posh concept in 2013 with the idea of bringing big city luxuries to a neighborhood salon.

“I started this company because I travel all the time, and when I was in Dallas or New York, I would see these blow dry bars,” Hezinger said. “I loved the concept and thought it was great, that’s why I brought it to Tulsa.”

Though there are several places for women to get their hair cut in Tulsa, she says there aren’t many full range beauty salons. “Everyone loves it and that’s why we want to bring it to other people,” Hezinger said.

The concept for Posh Blow Dry Bar is it’s a place for women to be truly pampered, even offering clients a complimentary mimosa or a glass of wine during their visit.

“The typical salon is color, cuts, stuff like that,” Hezinger said. “We are focused on just making women look beautiful. We do makeup and hair, you can just roll out of bed and we will do the shampoo, style and makeup. That’s probably the difference with us; that’s what we are all about.”

Currently, the salon offers the blow out, style, extensions, eyelashes, spray tans, waxing and makeup application. It’s a full-range beauty salon.

The Glamazon Package offers a wash, blow out, style and makeup for $60.

She says she’s had requests from friends all over the country to bring the Posh Blow Dry Bar to other locations. That’s why she decided to offer the franchise opportunity.

“The idea of franchising is a lot better because it will give people the opportunity to be business owners themselves,” she said.

For $35,000, investors will be able to use the Posh Blow Dry Bar logo and menu and receive some business training.

“They get their own business, without starting from scratch,” she said. “They won’t have to go through the headaches and heartaches of being a business owner and not knowing what to do. You get somebody who has already gone through the headache and already knows what works and doesn’t work. That is the benefit,” she said.

Beautiful Brands owner David Rutkauskas is assisting in the franchise sales transactions.

“They are going to help with part of it by making sure people are qualified to purchase and will oversee the sales,” Hezinger said.

She will also be traveling to Dubai and Atlanta to offer the opportunity at franchise shows to investors in those cities.

“For me, it’s not about the money, but about helping people start their own businesses and seeing them succeed,” Hezinger said. “That is No. 1; what is the point of starting a business if you are not going to succeed?”
