Seven Rejoice Christian players were selected to the All-Pinnacle Conference baseball teams, which were announced Monday.

Kaleb Clyma, Dillon Hair, Brock Henson and Cole Hill were each named to the first team while Caden Fryar, Zac Hair and Grady James earned honorable mention recognition.

Clyma posted a 4-1 record on the bump and led the Eagles’ pitching staff with a 3.11 ERA and 41 strikeouts. His eight starts also tied for team-high honors.

Dillon Hair carried a .392 batting average. The senior outfielder collected 33 RBI and scored 29 runs while showing his durability with a team-best 106 plate appearances.

Henson was the rubber arm of the rotation. The senior led the staff with 13 appearances, 51 1/3 innings pitched and a 6-2 record. A jack-of-all-trades, Henson also scored 28 times from his leadoff spot in the batting order.

Hill, the lone Rejoice junior to make the first team, finished with a salty .487 batting average. The shortstop and Missouri State commit also led all Eagle regulars in on-base-percentage (.606) and slugging percentage (.605), hits (37) and runs scored (30).

The Eagles finished their season with an 18-8 record, a No. 13 ranking and a spot in the Class 2A regional championship round for the second consecutive spring.

Cascia Hall’s Dean Wilson was named Coach of the Year. Cascia sophomore Dylan Wilson earned Pitcher of the Year honors while his teammate, Scott Torkleson, shared Player of the Year honors with Metro Christian’s Justin Dunlap.
