Osage County deputies are searching for a man suspected of taking about 16 propane bottles from the Stop and Save store in Sand Springs recently.
Osage County Sheriff’s Office investigator Bill Gee said a man, likely in his 30s, around 6 feet tall with a medium build wearing jeans, a T-shirt and a baseball cap, went to the store in the 9700 block of Shell Creek Road around 6:30 a.m. June 30.
Gee said the man pulled up in a blue Chevrolet Colorado truck, pried open the propane storage unit outside the store and took about 16 bottles.
He said deputies have seen increased instances of burglary in the area and in the area of 209th W. Avenue.
