Express Employment Professionals of Oklahoma is seeking to help businesses and government agencies that are short-staffed after flooding and storm damage.

Their “How Can We Help Campaign,” gives eight hours of free staffing to clients who hire an employee for a 40-hour assignment. Express is extending the offer to existing customers as well as customers who have never used the staffing service before.

“Many areas have seen devastating flooding, and we need to help with the clean-up,” Bob Funk, president and chief executive officer of Express Employment Professionals of Oklahoma, said in a statement. “We need to benefit anyone who has experienced flood damage.”

Express Employment Professionals of Oklahoma comprises 48 Express Employment Professional franchises in Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas and Arkansas. Express is the largest full-service staffing company in Oklahoma and provides employees for light-industrial operations, such as manufacturing; office services, such as clerical; and professional services, such as accounting and engineering.

Express offices are reportedly reaching out to clients and prospective clients, and the company is extending the offer to insurance companies, local disaster restoration services and municipalities that may be short-handed due to the clean-up effort, said Scott Davis, Oklahoma executive vice president for Express in Tulsa.

“The flooding has been widespread, and our offices reach to several of the affected areas, including Miami, Bartlesville, Sand Springs, Tulsa, Muskogee, El Reno, Ft. Smith, Ark. and Russellville, Ark.,” Davis said. “These are difficult times for our neighbors, and it’s important that we give back to the community.”
