Lts. Jason and Keisha McMullin of the Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club of Sand Springs are reportedly moving on to their next post this week.
The couple began work supporting the Tulsa Area Command in 2016 and have been focused on the Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club in Sand Springs at 4403 S. 129th W. Avenue for the last two years.
““Farewells like these are bittersweet, to have enjoyed the company and good leadership of a set of officers,” Boys and Girls Club Unit Director Mary Bechtold said in a statement.
The McMullins oversaw the fundraising, renovation and development of a new playground as well as other facilities upgrades during their time in Sand Springs.
Salvation Army Metro Tulsa Area Command Director of Development Dr. Kim Falcon said the McMullins moved to their next post the week of June 17 and Lt. Zach Good and his bride-to-be Breann Massey are the new Salvation Army officers to be assigned to Sand Springs.
Good was raised in Charlottesville, Virginia, was commissioned as an Officer in 2018 and his first appointment was in Henderson, North Carolina, where he’s been stationed for a year. Massey was raised in Petoskey, Michigan, graduated from Asbury University in Kentucky and previously worked as an elementary teacher. Their wedding is set for August 10.
Services to welcome Good as the new Corps Officer are set for 11 a.m. June 23 at the Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club. Massey is stationed at Camp Heart O’Hills working at the summer camp until their wedding and will join Good as a Corps Officer after that.
